Chelsea Manning used Wikileaks to courageously expose U.S. war crimes by both Democratic and Republican administrations around the globe – including U.S. soldiers’ murders of civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan, support for torture, and coup d’etats.
Recently the Trump administration sent her back to jail for refusing to answer questions before a grand jury investigating WikiLeaks and its founder, Julian Assange.
As she was being taken back into custody on March 8, Chelsea said, “I will not participate in a secret process that I morally object to, particularly one that has been historically used to entrap and persecute activists for protected political speech.”
