Darryl Canon, survivor of torture by Chicago Police, leads the call for passage of the Chicago Reparations Ordinance, which would provide counseling, educational support and other aid for victims of torture by Chicago police such as former Cmdr. Jon Burge.
Joey Mogul (right), a partner the Peoples Law Office (PLO), speaks in favor of the ordinance. PLO has led the fight to expose the tortures by Jon Burge and his colleagues, and has successfully represented many torture victims.

Naming names: at the end of the rally, many participants lined up to hold banners representing the 110+ African American men who were tortured by ex-Cmdr Jon Burge and his colleagues.
