Earlier this month, just days after the 14th anniversary of the United States’ longest-ever war, its invasion of Afghanistan, the U.S. bombed a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Our government killed at least 19 people, burning many of them alive in their hospital beds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The U.S. and Afghan governments told numerous contradictory stories about the story, and President Obama has refused to support the independent investigation demanded by Doctors Without Borders.<\/p>\n

Protesters in Chicago organized by Voices For Creative Non-Violence gathered outside of Stroger Cook County shortly after the attack under the slogan, <\/strong>“Bombing Hospitals is a War Crime.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
