On April 28th, LGBTs and allies in Chicago joined pro-equal rights activists around the country to push for a Supreme Court decision recognizing equal marriage rights from coast to coast.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goal is to finally get LGBTs recognized as deserving protection under the “equal protection” clause of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, and with that, pave the way not only for the equal right to marry, but also equal access to jobs, housing and public accommodations.<\/p>\n
