EQUAL RIGHTS & NON-DISCRIMINATION

Demand No Watering Down Of ENDA!

Friday, 10/19: Protest against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Chicago

Along with Congressman Barney Frank, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has played a pivotal role in attempts to gut the proposed Employment Non-Discrimination Act by excluding Transgendered people and weakening the protections for gays, lesbians and bisexuals. The bill is still in committee and what language it eventually comes out with is still very much in play.

As it turns out, Speaker Pelosi is also hosting a cocktail reception in Chicago this Friday night to raise money for Democratic Congressional candidates. This is an excellent opportunity to let her know how you feel about her moves to gut the ENDA bill. Please join us and other Chicago area LGBT activists in protest at her cocktail reception:

5 PM to 6:30 PM, in front of the Westin Hotel, 909 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago

(just north of the Hancock Building). For more information, call 773.209.1187
