Supreme Court Decision Day –

Marriage Rights in ALL 50 States!

It can happen any day – the Supreme Court will issue its decision on whether or not same-sex couples can get married in all 50 states and U.S. territories, and whether or not our marriages will be respected coast to coast.

AND IT MATTERS:
The Court’s decision could be about much more than just marriage, as important as that is for many of us. At stake are broader issues of whether the Constitution’s 14th Amendment will finally apply to LGBTQ people – if we will be legally guaranteed equal access to jobs, housing and access to public accommodations.

With reactionary legislators in many states passing bills allowing bigots to cite their “religious beliefs” to deny LGBTQs medical aid and service in private businesses, we need to demand full citizenship and rights to LGBTQs.

On the night the Court decides sometime between now and late June, we in Chicago and people around the country will respond to the Court’s decision – whether in celebration or protest.

Please join us at 7 PM for an LGBTQ community speak-out the night the Court decides, in front of the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted Street.
